Our in-factory profile provisioning solutions simplify SIM logistics and handling. During the final stage of the IoT device manufacturing process, you can personalize your eSIM with an operator subscription.
With our eSIM activation service, we provide a native bootstrap and an “empty shell” eSIM. When turned on for the first time, single-SKU IoT devices can be configured remotely for any cellular operator worldwide. How Many eSIM Specifications Are There?
NExT eSIM provisioning solution is based on GSMA SGP.22 standard. It’s ready to evolve to the GSMA SGP.32 eSIM IoT specifications. Read our blog on the SGP.32 standard to learn more.
Does Your Solution Work with eSIMs from Different Vendors?
A key component of the solution is the LPA/IPA. This allows remote communication with the eSIM.
Some Telit Cinterion modules have an internal eSIM and LPA. Our solution works with GSMA-standard SIMs previously qualified by Telit Cinterion to ensure service quality and reliability.
If the module doesn’t contain an LPA, Telit Cinterion provides an eSIM containing an LPA. This eSIM is supplied by vendors that have completed comprehensive testing and validation.
What SIM Form Factors Are Supported?
Telit Cinterion can provide embedded SIMs within the module and MFF2 eSIMs or standard plastic (trio) SIMs.
Are Any Software or Hardware Changes Required on my Application or Device?
In general, no software or hardware changes are required.
For the LPA eSIM, the device should follow the SGP.22 device requirements. It must support the BIP channels.
How Many MNO and MVNO Profiles Do You Support?
Our solution is agnostic to the MNO and MVNO. We can enable the download of any GSMA-compliant profile. Several MNO and MVNO profiles have been prevalidated. Several profiles can be installed if the eSIM memory is not exceeded.
What Is the Coverage of Your Bootstrap Solution?
Our bootstrap is global and provides worldwide coverage. Please contact your Telit Cinterion representative for more details.
Can Your NExT eSIM Provisioning Services Be Purchased Separately?
Customers can select the services that best fit their use cases. NExT in-factory provisioning, eSIM activation and eSIM life cycle can be purchased independently.
Is iSIM Supported?
