John Keever is the chief technology officer for IoT platforms at Telit Cinterion. He joined Telit Cinterion from ILS Technology, a company acquired by Telit Cinterion in 2013.
John founded ILS Technology in 2000 and served as an executive vice president and chief technology officer. Before ILS Technology, John was a global services principal at IBM Corporation. He oversaw e-production solution architectures and deployments for numerous global manufacturers.
John has over 18 years of experience in plant floor automation with IBM. He was the worldwide development and support manager for multiple hardware and software products.
He has extensive experience in automation software engineering and design. John holds patents in hardware and software.
John graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He also holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, with minors in electrical engineering and mathematics. He completed postgraduate work in computer engineering and operating systems design at Duke University.
