Telit Communications spa ha effettuato una donazione a favore Laboratorio dell’Immaginario Scientifico (LIS), società cooperativa, con sede legale in Trieste, Riva Massimiliano e Carlotta N. 15, P. Iva 00936870328, per progetti di promozione e organizzazione di attività culturali e di valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale.

Telit Communications S.p.A. has made a donation to Laboratorio dell’Immaginario Scientifico (LIS), a non-profit cooperative organization based in Trieste, Riva Massimiliano e Carlotta No. 15, VAT No. 00936870328, for projects aimed at promoting and organizing cultural activities and enhancing cultural heritage.

• TITOLO: L.E.W.I.S. – Lightweight Edge Wireless Intelligent System
• Descrizione: L.E.W.I.S. è un progetto di ricerca e sviluppo dedicato all’Edge AI, finalizzato alla realizzazione di una piattaforma hardware-software che esegue i modelli di intelligenza artificiale direttamente sul dispositivo, senza demandare al cloud l’elaborazione dei dati. La soluzione punta a ridurre costi di connettività, tempi di latenza e criticità legate alla privacy, attraverso un’architettura scalabile, sicura e a basso consumo, validata in ambiente reale.

• Contributo concesso: Euro 202.297,98.-

• Title: L.E.W.I.S. – Lightweight Edge Wireless Intelligent System
• Description: L.E.W.I.S. is a research and development project focused on Edge AI, aimed at creating a hardware–software platform that runs artificial intelligence models directly on the device, without delegating data processing to the cloud. The solution seeks to reduce connectivity costs, latency times, and privacy-related issues through a scalable, secure, and low-power architecture, validated in a real-world environment.
• Eligible expenditure: EUR 698,394.39
• Granted contribution: EUR 202,297.98
