At the beginning of 2013, Telit acquired CrossBridge Solutions expanding its IoT Connectivity offering to small/medium m2m customers in the U.S. The acquired company has a long 22-year history in the North American market adding to Telit's 20+ years' experience in cellular hardware technology.
In September 2013, Telit acquired IoT Portal, a U.S.-based provider of cloud services and application enablement platform (AEP). The acquisition was another important step to continue building a company to offer end-to-end solutions to its customers.

In April 2014, Telit concluded the acquisition of the Automotive Telematics On-board unit Platform (ATOP) business from Netherlands-based NXP Semiconductors (Nasdaq NXPI).
