Seoul – May 14, 2012 – Telit Wireless Solutions (AIM: TCM), a global leader in machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless technology, today announced that it will participate in the major IT exhibition ‘World IT Show (WIS) 2012’ to be held at COEX, Samsung-dong from May 15 to 18 in an effort to advertise its products more proactively to the domestic market.
WIS 2012 is a comprehensive IT exhibition with business-centered global competence and also Korea’s largest IT exhibition with a total of 700 participating companies, including 500 domestic and 200 overseas companies that will occupy more than 2,000 booths. With the theme "Beyond IT," the event serves as a valuable opportunity to introduce high-end technologies that will drive the future of the industry. In the exhibition, Telit is introducing its key data communication modules that allow real-time transfer and management and that are widely applicable in the M2M field. The showcasing products include HE910, the worldwide smallest 5-band HSPA+ LGA module; and JF2 and JN3 GPS modules.
To help enhance visitors’ understanding of M2M, Telit will exhibit a number of products from Korean and European client companies that have adopted Telit’s products in their M2M sectors such as AMR units, electronic tagging tracker, POS terminals and more.
Telit Korea currently serves as the company’s Asia-Pacific headquarters and directs all sales and marketing while sales and technical support offices are located in Korea, China, Taiwan and India. By participating in the event, Telit is looking to increase its client base in the Korean market.
