Telit receives award from Korean minister during Electronics IT Day

The award recognizes the business benefits of IoT and M2M products and solutions, which include high performance and innovative services.

Seoul, Korea – October 14, 2014 – Telit Wireless Solutions, a leading global provider of high-quality machine-to-machine (M2M) modules, services and solutions, today announced that Derick Tsang, President of Telit APAC, received on behalf of Telit an award from Kwon Ohyeon, Minister of the Korean Electronics Association during ‘The ninth Electronics IT Day The Man of Merits Award Ceremony’ held on October 14.  

Electronics IT Day was established to celebrate export sales of electronic goods reaching USD 100 billion in 2005. Since then it has become a regular government-hosted event to reward companies that have contributed to strengthening the competitive power of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry. This year, the ceremony was held on October 14, in time for the opening of ‘Korea Electronica Show’. Representatives from leading ICT companies, including Telit, LIG ADP, New Optics and Daeduck GDS, attended the ceremony.

Recently, Telit’s LE910-SKG successfully concluded Inter-Operability Testing with SK Telecom.  This denotes a confidence level by the operator in the reliability and quality of the modules used on its mobile networks.
