Telit joins 2013 Shanghai International Navigation Industry and Technology Development Conference and Expo

Shanghai, September 11, 2013 – Telit Wireless Solutions, a global provider of high-quality machine-to-machine (M2M) solutions, products and services, today joins 2013 Shanghai International Navigation Industry and Technology Development Conference and Expo. This event is organized by the Shanghai Science and Technology Committee, Shanghai Economic and Information Commission and Shanghai Science and Technology Industry of National Defense. The Chinese Government attributes great importance to this event which attracts leading corporations, experts and government officials from the Chinese Navigation industry. Its rich program explores trends in China‘s Satellite Navigation industry with special focus on the China Beidou (Compass) Navigation System.

Over 100 exhibiting companies in China‘s navigation industry have joined and will exhibit their most competitive products in the latest technologies. Telit shall exhibit the most relevant products from its broad product portfolio, especially GNSS products. Telit positioning products are the result of over twenty years’ experience in global positioning systems technology, featuring ultra-sensitive RF front-ends that are passive-antenna friendly, and include GPS-only as well as GPS|GLONASS receivers. The positioning portfolio also includes the latest technology in receivers which allows simultaneous tracking of two GNSS contellations.

The Telit Jupiter SE868 V2 and SL869 are Telit multi-constellation modules supporting simultaneous dual-constellation tracking and dead-reckoning respectively. The Jupiter JF2 and JN3 are 48-channels GPS modules with high sensitivity, extremely low power consumption and extended ephemeris injection for fast TTFF. The ultra-sensitive Jupiter SE880 GPS receiver is the smallest and most advanced 48-channel GPS SiP module in the world. These modules are widely used in application areas including tracking devices, and personal consumer electronics, such as sport watches, digital cameras and tablet PCs.

Desmond Wong, manager of business development and advanced technology at Telit joined the seminar on September 11th as a speaker. Using the Jupiter SE880 as an example, Wong explored GNSS receiver frequency reference for successful satellite navigation. "Telit provides wireless modules with high quality and compatibility. We provide our customers 360° support to protect their investment, remove technical risk and speed up time-to-market.", said Wong.
