CE910-SC and DE910-SC designed for specific requirements of CDMA networks in China requiring R-UIM card technology
Shenzhen (China) – March 19, 2013 – Telit Wireless Solutions, a leading global vendor of high-quality machine-to-machine (M2M) modules and value-added services, today announced the introduction of the CE910-SC and DE910-SC modules specifically designed for the Chinese CDMA M2M markets requiring R-UIM card technology. The new products integrate and augment Telit’s extensive family of unified form factor modules, the xE910. The CE910-SC provides for an easy upgrade path to high-speed EV-DO Rev.A thanks to its companion product the DE910-SC.
The CE910-SC is a single-band 800MHz CDMA 1xRTT wireless module. Its compact LGA form factor is pin-to-pin compatible with the xE910 family, allowing for easy integration of different 2G to 3G wireless technologies into the same design. The CE910-SC enables reliable and secure CDMA cellular connectivity using R-UIM card technology. It is the ideal platform for low data throughput applications on Chinese CDMA networks, such as telemetry, telematics, smart metering, POS terminals, healthcare and security. Additional features such as integrated TCP/IP and UDP/IP stacks provide extended functionality, adding value to the customer application without adding cost.
The DE910-SC is a single-band 800MHz EV-DO Rev.A high-end combo solution featuring both high-speed wireless connectivity with 3.1 Mbps downlink and 1.8 Mbps uplink, plus GPS & GLONASS multi-constellation positioning capabilities from a high-sensitivity embedded receiver. The DE910-SC incorporates standalone GPS and gpsOne®, along with GLONASS for all types of mobile, location aware applications such as telematics, personal and asset tracking. The extensive interface set, which includes user definable GPIO, provides ease of integration for peripherals and actuators.
