The Telit Cinterion 5G Router evaluation kit is a cellular router platform based on an evaluation board. It integrates a broadband cellular modem with Wi‑Fi and Ethernet connectivity.
The system includes:
Designed to host Telit Cinterion 5G modules, the EVK allows users to easily evaluate modem features and system-level functionality. Interchangeable daughter boards adapt Telit Cinterion modules to standardized board‑to‑board connectors, balancing shielded hardware design with an open, user‑friendly architecture.
Connectivity to a host PC is provided via dual USB‑C interfaces for modem USB communication and serial control. Power is highly configurable. Users can power the module and ancillary circuits independently or together. Options include USB, a 12 V wall adapter with onboard regulation or a regulated external DC supply.
Two SIM card holders support dual‑SIM capability, with SIM1 as the default for single‑SIM modules. User interaction and testing are facilitated by LEDs, push buttons, DIP‑switch pin headers for signal routing and configuration, and a basic audio interface for headset use and external audio testing.
