Telit Acquires Mobilogix

Telit announced that it is acquiring the assets of Mobilogix. The acquisition includes all services/technologies, suppliers and customers contracts and employees.
The acquisition complements Telit’s existing R&D, design and general engineering resources, and service offerings, adding design capabilities for devices based on cellular, Wi-Fi, BT/BLE and GNSS modules, IoT connectivity and IoT platform.
Telit has a stated strategic objective of becoming the leading western IoT provider. That requires a unique set of capabilities integrating hardware, connectivity, device management, software and security in custom projects that enable customers to deploy IoT solutions seamlessly with less risk. Mobilogix is a leading provider of such solutions, delivering world-class custom designed IoT devices.
We are confident customers and partners will see the benefits from this transaction, as it enables us to create customized IoT products for our customers leveraging the added design capabilities for devices based on cellular, Wi-Fi, BT/BLE and GNSS modules, IoT connectivity and IoT platform. Projects undertaken by the incoming Mobilogix teams will allow customers to receive a complete set of production and testing documentation for their device specifications, based on all-Telit modules, connectivity and platforms, which they can then use to industrialize and distribute – just as they would have if they had executed the design project themselves.
Telit and Mobilogix share the same ecosystem and hence, share many of the same partners. We look forward to welcoming partners that are new to Telit in the weeks and months ahead.
