The Trieste R&D facility is the company's main engineering, design and development facility. Trieste focuses on the advancement of GSM, GPRS, EDGE, and GPS technologies. A team focused on the automotive-specific products has been created with the purpose of enhancing support and services in this location.
This R&D center is the primary competence center for other wireless technologies and special projects. This facility investigates short-range wireless, satellite, and other emerging technologies for integration into the corporate portfolio roadmap.
Telit's APAC R&D center is located in Seoul, South Korea, and is the main development site for the company's CDMA, WCDMA, and UMTS projects. It is also a center of competence for automotive specific products and rugged design technologies.
Tel Aviv (Israel):
The acquisition of Motorola M2M enabled us to open this center located in Tel Aviv. The team in Israel supports the other centers worldwide in the cellular sector.
Telit software competence hub for short-range wireless technologies. The Bangalore team develops and supports software applications for the company's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules.
Another R&D center is located in Foothill Ranch, California, and is the main development site for the company's GPS/Glonass and Location projects.
Boca Raton (USA):
This is the world headquarters site for Telit IoT Platforms, acquired in September 2013, and houses engineering and R&D in charge of advancing cloud technology and the company's application enablement platform (AEP).
Telit's sixth R&D Center is located in the Chicago area, U.S.A. This R&D team is responsible for m2mAIR North America product development including constant improvement to one of the region's most modern Network Operations Centers (NOC) dedicated to m2m.
