5G Data Cards

Start designing your devices for 5G with our data cards based on Qualcomm® Technologies’ innovations plus antenna modules with integrated RF transceiver, RF front-end (RFFE) and antenna elements.

These data cards are ideal for bandwidth-intensive applications that benefit from speeds in the 7 Gbps range and are compatible with the industry-leading LM960A18 Gigabit LTE data card. Such applications include:

  • Fixed wireless broadband internet access

FN990Axx

The FN990Axx module series is a natural evolution of our FN980 series. These M.2 5G modules are powered by the Snapdragon® X65 and X62 Modem-RF systems and 3GPP Release (Rel) 16 compliant. The FN990Axx series will enable mission-critical and latency-sensitive applications (e.g., smart manufacturing and private 5G networks).

  • 5G sub-6 FDD and TDD for global deployment
  • SA and NSA operations, 5G core network Opt. 3a/3x and Opt. 2 for full network compatibility
  • 4G Cat 20 up to 7 DL CA on the FN990A40
  • 4G Cat 19 up to 5 DL CA on the FN990A28
  • Standard M.2 (NGFF) data card form factor

The modules in this series are available with LTE and WCDMA fallback:

  • FN990A28: Sub-6: 120 MHz, 2CC CA
  • FN990A40: Sub-6: 200 MHz, 3CC CA

LN920

The LN920 is an M.2 (NGFF) compact data card with versions available in Categories 6, 12 and 13 worldwide. They are pre-certified by Tier 1 operators and ideal for mobile computing and IIoT gateways and routers.

  • Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X12+ LTE modem
  • Supports bands between 600 MHz and 3.7 GHz, including CBRS (Band 48) and FirstNet (Band 14)
  • LTE Cat 12 (3xCA and 600 Mbps DL/150 Mbps UL) and Cat 6 (300 Mbps DL/50 Mbps UL)
  • Embedded GNSS positioning and navigation

xE910 mPCIe
