Telit Selected by Accelerated Concepts to Supply Cellular Broadband Functionality for Enterprise Grade Routers
Accelerated’s high-performance 6350-SR and 6330-MX LTE routers ensure business continuity as primary or failover sources of connectivity
Broadly certified Telit LE910 V2 mini PCIe LTE Cat 4 data card delivers 150Mbps download speed for kiosks, gas stations, and other commercial establishments
London, December 5, 2017 – Telit, a global enabler of the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced that Florida-based Accelerated Concepts, Inc. (Accelerated™), a provider of cellular (LTE) networking equipment for primary or backup networking applications, selected Telit’s LE910 V2 Cat 4 data card to power Accelerated’s 6350-SR and 6330-MX cellular routers for wireless broadband connectivity. Both are ideal for commercial establishments, including as primary or backup internet connections for branch offices, distributed sites, smart devices, IoT applications and retail locations. The LE910 enables Accelerated’s 6350-SR and 6330-MX to provide superior coverage, supporting the top LTE network carrier bands. Additionally, the connection established over the Telit data card allows connected routers to check in with Accelerated View™, Accelerated’s cloud management portal to facilitate centralized configurations, alerts and device management.
The 6350-SR and 6330-MX are high-performance, compact and affordable routers. The 6350-SR is ideal for large locations and data-intensive applications, such as digital signage providers looking to stream to multiple displays. The 6330-MX offers complete business continuity and comes with a remote mounting kit, so the unit can be deployed in a location with optimal cellular reception. Both routers feature auto-switching between different carriers with Carrier Smart Select™, WAN load balancing, automated failover and optional Wi-Fi. The SR and MX-series routers connect to cellular networks via Accelerated’s CORE 1002-CM Plug-In LTE Modem, which provides customers with flexible options to choose different speeds and capabilities that best fit their business requirements and needs. In addition, customers can upgrade to newer versions of the CORE Plug-In without replacing their routers. The Accelerated CORE 1002-CM Plug-In LTE modem is certified across all four major U.S. carriers.
“Continuous connectivity is mission-critical in today’s business environment – nearly every business aspect benefits from a strong, stable and fast LTE network,” said Tom Butts, CEO and founder of Accelerated. “We chose Telit’s LE910 data card because of key LE910’s features, including comprehensive North American Band support and the LE910’s ability to quickly switch between carriers which allows our customers to stock fewer SKUs.”
The LE910 V2 mini PCIe packs high value features in its full-size, single-sided data card form factor. A rich set of drivers make it ideal for embedded applications requiring easy integration to systems based on the latest desktop and mobile operating systems like Windows and Linux. The LTE Cat 4 data rate of 150Mbps download and 50Mbps upload make it suitable for fixed wireless broadband applications including service kiosks, ATMs, routers and network appliances.
“Telit data cards are designed to operate reliably in environments like IT racks, return plenums, and other locations where routers, gateways and network appliances like the 6350-SR and 6330-MX are commonly installed. The cards are certified for use on LTE networks in the U.S., Europe and throughout Asia Pacific. Accelerated can continue leveraging Telit data cards for higher speed requirements – all the way to our LM940 delivering LTE Cat 11, 600Mbps data rates,” said Dennis Kelly, Vice President Sales Americas, Telit. “The 6350-SR, 6330-MX and 1002-CM Plug-In LTE modem are great examples of how experts like Accelerated can leverage Telit technology extending their design investments for a long time.”
