New advisors bring expertise across defense, cybersecurity, industrial automation, telecommunications, public safety, global manufacturing and technology commercialization
Boca Raton, Fla., September 28, 2026 — Telit Cinterion, a leading provider of IoT solutions for critical national infrastructure and public safety, today announced the appointment of four senior executives and industry leaders as advisors to its Board of Directors. The appointments bring additional strategic expertise to the Board as Telit Cinterion strengthens its position in these established markets and grows its presence in defense, robotics and Edge AI.
Joining Telit Cinterion as senior advisors are Allen Proithis; Dr. Manfred Boudreaux-Dehmer; Roberto Ferri and Russell Best, OBE. Together, they bring extensive experience in defense and government, cybersecurity and digital transformation, industrial automation and robotics, telecommunications, public-safety communications, global manufacturing and technology commercialization.

The appointments, Telit Cinterion’s growing focus on defense and robotics, and its planned launch of U.S. manufacturing in October 2026 are part of a broader strategy to develop secure, Edge AI-enabled products backed by rigorous supply chain controls and transparency. The advisors will help the Board assess opportunities and partnerships across the markets Telit Cinterion serves worldwide.
The new senior advisors include:
- Allen Proithis is a board director, technology executive and strategic advisor with more than 30 years of experience across telecommunications, enterprise software, artificial intelligence, IoT and private wireless. He is CEO of Capstone Partners Inc. and serves on the boards of the FirstNet Authority and FreeWave Technologies. His experience in connectivity, public safety, AI and industrial technology will support Telit Cinterion’s strategy at the intersection of secure communications and mission-critical applications.
- Dr. Manfred Boudreaux-Dehmer is managing director of Aurelios Partners LLC and the former inaugural chief information officer and chief information security officer of NATO. His background spans digital transformation, cybersecurity, organizational strategy and geopolitical risk, as well as global technology leadership roles at Sierra Wireless, Hewlett-Packard and Compaq. His experience will support Telit Cinterion as security, resilience and trusted digital infrastructure become increasingly important across its strategic markets.
- Roberto Ferri is a global business executive with more than 35 years of experience in corporate strategy, business development, market expansion, contract manufacturing, mergers and acquisitions, and executive leadership. His background includes senior roles at Jabil, along with experience in industrial automation and robotics. Ferri will contribute commercial, manufacturing and market-development expertise as Telit Cinterion pursues opportunities in robotics, automation and scalable industrial solutions.
- Russell Best, OBE, is a defense-sector leader with more than 40 years of experience spanning service in the Royal Navy, senior appointments in the U.K. Ministry of Defence, defense strategy and executive leadership. His international experience includes military-diplomatic representation and the development of joint ventures involving emerging markets and technologies. Best will provide strategic perspective as Telit Cinterion expands its engagement in defense and national security and strengthens its position in critical infrastructure.
The appointments reflect Telit Cinterion’s broader effort to align its strategic resources with growth opportunities in markets that require secure and resilient industrial IoT infrastructure.
