DE910-DUAL Cellular Module Enables 3.1 Mbps Connectivity over the Sprint EV-DO Network for Consumer and Commercial Applications

Raleigh, USA – February 19, 2013 – Telit Wireless Solutions, a leading global provider of high-quality machine-to-machine (M2M) modules and services, today announced its DE910-DUAL cellular M2M module is now tested for compatibility on the Sprint Network. A dual-band CDMA 1x EV-DO Rev. A module, the DE910-DUAL allows Sprint M2M Solutions customers to deploy a wide range of M2M applications that will benefit from reliable, high-speed connectivity over Sprint’s nationwide network.

The DE910-DUAL packs a rich feature set in its ultra-compact 28.2 x 28.2 x 2.05 mm Land Grid Array (LGA) package. gpsOne® assisted GPS and autonomous positioning with simultaneous GPS and GLONASS support make it ideal for location-based services (LBS) applications requiring extremely reliable, precise, and fast location information. Extended operating temperature range of -30°C to +85°C make it a suitable platform for mobile and fixed applications exposed to outdoor environments such as vending, point-of-sale (POS) and telematics devices.

"The DE910-DUAL module’s speed and reliability is now available for Sprint and Telit customers with the network connectivity from one of the nation’s top-rated wireless networks," said Mike Ueland, senior vice president and general manager of Telit Wireless Solutions North America.

Part of the xE910 form factor family, the DE910-DUAL protects investments by offering complete backward compatibility to 1xRTT and EV-DO Rev. 0.
