Brian Scott to Lead Telit Sales Efforts for Region Sub-Saharan Africa Leveraging 25-Year Experience in Europe and Africa
London, UK – October 16, 2012 – Telit Wireless Solutions, a leading global vendor of high-quality machine-to-machine (M2M) modules and value-added services, today announced the appointment of Brian Scott as regional sales director for region sub-Saharan Africa. Scott is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and joins Telit with extensive experience in the communication and electronic components industry where he has served for more than 25 years.
Scott’s long history with cellular m2m started in 1998 with Siemens Wireless Modules (WM), becoming head of the company’s operation in South Africa in 2006. From that post he managed the transition from Siemens WM to Cinterion in 2008 and more recently the transition from Cinterion to Gemalto. Scott’s extensive experience and familiarity position Telit well to attain sales leadership in the important market region.

Scott joined Telit on September 25th and will manage the sales organization in region Sub-Saharan Africa reporting to Shuki Yulzari regional sales director for Middle-East and Africa.
