IoT Alliance Australia

IoT Alliance Australia (IoTAA) is the peak industry body and a driver of IoT for good and a data smart Australia. They advocate for the Australian IoT industry and promote good practices. IoTAA creates opportunities for collaboration and influences the IoT agenda.

Their vision is a ‘Data Smart Australia,’ and their mission is to advance society through trusted, accessible automated data. To achieve this, they focus on three key areas:

• Sustainability: defining and promoting how organizations access the data they need to support their pathway to net zero and circularity
• Productivity: identifying use cases, highlighting industry leaders, codifying good practice and quantifying the value of the adoption of IoT and associated technologies
• Trusted technology and data: creating design and deployment tools and guides and setting the principles and good practices for trust in digital technologies
