I am using a GL865-quad GPRS modem. I am using a microntroller to control the modem with AT command and I am using IP easy to send data to a server. I tie low the RTS line because my microntroller is always able to receive data. I would prefer not to monitor the CTS line. In the Sofware user guide (document 1ww0300784 rev 7), it is written that the CTS line is not asserted by the modem if the data in its receiver does not exceed 75% of its capacity.
So, to make sure that the CTS line will never be asserted, I would like to know what is this capacity. I can’t find anything about that in the documents
