I have a situation in which the remote server was down. I have tried to connect to this server, and would expect the timeout in opening socket error to appear, which has indeed happened but after much longer time than defined by command
AT#SKTCT=55
My second question is what should I do to correctly close the connection in case a socket connection timeout occured. Is it neccessary to send the escape sequence (+++) or should I just continue and assume that the modem is still in command mode..
