Which pretty much forses the use of online mode connection since there is no way to get the length of available data without SRINGs as far as I know. Is there a way around this?
SSLRingMode and noCarrierMode were introduced in 10.01.xx1, now the latest is 10.01.xx2, you’ll must upgrade to have them.

It appears that SSLSRING mode is disabled on GL865-QUAD rev. 10.01.140:
