Hi,
I’m using a GE864-QUAD V2. Only TX, RX and DTR are connected in my hardware so I cannot use hardware flow control.
In some cases, I would like to prevent the GE864 from sending any URC.
I tried using software flow control but it does not seem to work at all.
I have configured flow control as follows:
AT+IFC=0,1
AT#CFLO=1
After sending XOFF (hex 13), the module will still send URC such as SRING.
I have also tried the commands AT+FLO and AT&K but to no avail.
What am I missing?
Hi, software flow control is "active" during CSD connection. Please specify in the sentence "In some cases, I would like to prevent the GE864 from sending any URC" which are these cases
Hi, I would like to be able to prevent the GE864 from sending any data for some time. The module would be in command mode, and one or more TCP sockets may be connected. Also SMS messages may be received.
Once I send the XON command, the GE864 module should send any URC that were queued after XOFF. Is this possible?
