  1. Dear Sir,

I have download GE910-QUAD USB driver from download zone “Telit_USB_Driver_WinDesktop_OS_U8_00_04_HE863_HE910_GE910.zip” for Windows XP SP2/3. We want to connect GE910-QUAD module with PC USB port directly.

As per driver application notes this driver supports “Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 or 8 OS installed”. But when i am installing drivers, i gives error.

Please find attached documents for error.

    Please suggest solution ASAP.

    Thanks,

    Diwakar

  2. Dear Sir,

We are using GE910-QUAD (13.00.006) module for Remote monitoring device. We want to send data to our VPN server using VPN SIM card.

when we are using dialup connection using windows, it is working fine on VPN SIM card and APN.

But when we are activate context using AT#SGACT=1,1 command. it gives error.

    1. This is roaming, do you have roaming dat roaming available and the correct APN to use? Check AT+CGREG and AT+CGATT.

      1. Dear  Sir,

SIM is roaming activated. Dialup connection is also working on same SIM card. But when we are activating socket using AT COMMAND AT#SGACT=1,1 then module is responding error.

        AT+CGREG?

        1. When the AT#SGACT=1,1 fails, please check with AT#CEER and AT#CEERNET what kind of error code the module receives from the network.

          1. Dear Sir,

          2. #CEER 237 PDP unsuccessful activation cause SM refuse

            #CEERNET 29  USER AUTHENTICATION FAILED

Probably wrong APN or user auth info. Double check if you are using the same network, APN and user info as in PC dialup connection.

  3. Dear Sir,

APN and SIM is same for dial up connection and context activation using AT+SGACT=1,1.

But dialup connection is working fine and AT#AGACT=1,1 is failed.

If you need RTD log, i can share with you.

    Thanks,

    Diwakar

    1. I don’t think that a RTD log will provide us more info, the code 29 in #CEERNET says enough.
Are you sure that you don’t need a username and a password to activate a PDP context?
In your case, you are using AT#SGACT=1,1 without specifying a username and a password.
Maybe you should specify a username and a password, like this:

      AT#SGACT=1,1,”user”,”password”

Otherwise, you may be using a wrong authentication algorithm, maybe your operator requires CHAP instead of PAP and in your dial-up configuration, you are using CHAP… You can change the authentication algorithm with AT#SGACTAUTH. If even this won’t solve your issue, can you share you dial-up settings?
