I took a trial with the MOD.watchdog function and it seems to work fine for me, on a GE865. Now just one further question: is there any means of printing out something as a "panic code" when the watchdog times out? This would tell me deliberately that the program stopped and rebooted due to the watchdog, and nothing else.
would you have any idea about what I aksed before on this thread?
What would be the purpose of this? You are running a helper host along Python, or just for the debugging purposes?
Right, debugging mainly.
there is a sentence printed out on the debug port "Rebooting because of Python watchdog”
Thanks, I really did not know that. My dog has been patient sofar and produced nothing like that 🙂
