Limiting RF Power

    1. See AT+CPWC, AT#PCLFIX. Note the normal behaviour is to have the network control the module’s output power so take care touching these.

      1. Many Thanks.

Seeking ATEX certification. I have been advised to limit maximum RF output to 90% of 2W to allow for tolerences.

        AT+CPWC seems rather coarse.

AT#PCLFIX sets a level rather than a maximum level. What would be the downside of using this other than battery life?

The application will be trying to maintain continuous connection via TCP/IP.

  1. I would recommend using #PCLMIN instead of #PCLFIX.

#PCLMIN sets the minimum PCL that can be used by the module, but it doesn’t inhibit the use of higher PCL if required by the network. AT#PCLMIN=6,0,0 should be ok in your case

Thanks Andrea, So #PCLMIN sets the maximum power output?
