1. Hi,

I am working on GL865 Module & having the below query:

Can i send data along with URL?

    For Example:

Sensing URL: (Copy this link & paste as web address)

    http://www.tulsagastechindia.com/servlet/tgtSendUrlDemo?response=0111111111111,2011-10-24,18:00:00

Press Enter & yopu will get result as Done.

    Receiving URL:

    http://www.tulsagastechindia.com/servlet/tgtResponseResultDemo

You will receive above data on below URL as result.

How we can perform the same on telit module GL865.

Earliest reply will be highly appriciable.

    Thanks,

    KD

    1. Easy 🙂 Read in "Telit IP Eay User Guide" paragraph 3.5.1 (but don’t neglect the rest of the doc) "IP Easy- HTTP client application". Change all parameters in connection steps as required, then in HTTP request change the document, for example:

      GET /servlet/tgtSendUrlDemo?response=0111111111111,2011-10-24,18:00:00 HTTP/1.1<cr><lf>
      Host: http://www.tulsagastechindia.com<cr><lf>
      Connection: keep-alive<cr><lf>
      <cr><lf>

      1. Dear CB,

        Thanks for your reply.

I have tried the same on my modem using RS Term tool thru serial port.

I configured my GPRS by sending commands suggested in this section.

When i send the below commands it results with ok instead of connect.

        AT#SD=1,0,80,”www.telit.com”,0,0

Then i am not able to perrform below operation:

"Now following the HTTP protocol we ask for the homepage by sending the following

        lines on the serial line:

        GET / HTTP/1.1<cr><lf>

        Host: http://www.telit.com<cr><lf>"

Note: My RS Term tool is not taking any command like Get/HTTP/1.1.

Pls advice how i can proceed further & where i can write my data in next commnads.

        Pls revert back asap.

        Rgds,

          2. "www.telit.com"

Post a more complete log, you can enable logging in file in rsterm. Include as many diagnostics commands as you can.

          3. – set AT+CMEE=2

            – set Log to file in rsterm, and select a file to log in; select from this file the part you want to post here, in text format

            – don’t rush, read "Telit AT Commands Reference Guide" and "Telit IP Easy User Guide", don’t skip chapters because this will bite later

            – use online socket mode until you catch the move, then you can go further with command mode

          5. The most common error, flow control mismatch: set AT&K0 for no flow control.

Please do it, then after CONNECT send the HTTP request.
