  1. I send th at command :

    AT&K4 to the module, then I send a file of 24 Kb, I don’t see  the XOFF char (19).

    But the file on the server is  corrupted.

    All work fine with less than 4 Kb file.

     

    Why?

    P.s. the software version of the module is 7.03.00.02

      1. The latest firmware is 7.03.002, is this what you read?

         

        How do you send the file? Data call? What software are you using, is it set for XON/XOFF bi-directional with filtering?

         

        1. the firmware version I read is: 
          070390022

          I have interfaced it to a micro, only with tx,rx pin.

          I try to transfer via FTP some files.

          If the files are smaller than 4 kb all work fine, if I transmit a bigger file, I see the file is corrupted (as in the file attached at the first post).

           

          I have tried K4 and K5, but I don’t see any XOFF char from the modem !

           

          I think that the modem  will have ca 4Kb buffer internally…

           

          My baud rate is 9.6 K

          1. How do you read the version, 070390022 is not valid? Use AT+CGMR.

             

            I think software flow control works only for CSD operations, for GPRS/IP you need to use hardware flow control.

             

          2. I use AT+GMR

            and the revision is 0703900.

             

            However I have tried with  AT&K2 and all work fine also at 115K (I see the XOFF)
