Phone Book tlength

  1. The  phonebook on the CC864 Dual has a location called e_text for storing email addresses.   However, the default maximum string length is only 20 characters, which is not quite long enough for many email addresses.  Is there any way to reconfigure the phone book memory to store longer strings?

  2. Hello Jonathan,

If you could run the two AT Commands below and if I could get an AT log of the issue you are having as well.

    1. Hello Nick,

Thanks for getting back with me.  Here is the AT log that you requested.  As you can see, any email address over 20 characters is rejected.  There may not be any way to change this, but it couldn’t hurt to check.

      1. Hello Jonathan,

I tested on my side as well and confirmed that this is a limitation of this module.

Normally an application would handle this operation as it would have more memory.

If you have any further questions about this just let me know.

        Cheers

        Nick
