I try to send an attachment file with the command AT#SMTPCL but always have the same error,
+CME ERROR: connection failed.
I have configurated all the parameters settings for the context, and email settings.
Also I used this settings for receive email from the same server with no errors, but when i try to send the module give me the error.
I attach a log file with the sequences of commands and responses.
Any suggestion?
Thanks a lot, Gabriel.
Can you connect to port 25 of smtp.1and1.es?
What module & firmware?
Hi Cosmin,
Yes I can connect to port 25 of smtp.1and1.es
The module is a EVK2 with the GE910-GNSS, and firmware version is 13.00.105
I test the connection opening a socket and doing all the attachment settings in a telnet session, and this procedure is correct.
But the AT#SMTPCL command does not work.
Any other suggestion?
Hi Gabriel,
I am not sure about the server "1and1.es", but if I am not wrong, the server "1und1.de" requires an EHLO greating instead of a HELO.
The command AT#SMTPCFG=0,587,1 (or AT#SMTPCFG=0,25,1 if you would like to use the port 25 instead) should solve your issue, but this AT command was added in a later SW release.
The command should be supported from SW version 13.00.106.
I think that you should ask your distributor, for this SW version (it is currently the latest).
Gabriel I sent a download link to your email, for 13.00.106.
Thanks a lot, now is working.
I upgrade the FW to version 13.00.106 using the XFP tool.
And configure with the AT#SMTPCFG=0,587,1.
All communications is ok.
Thanks a lot,
