I’m looking for the most appropriate way to turn off the GL865 QUAD module. In the AT Command Reference Guide (Rev 22) I found the #SHDN command, which “causes device detach from the network and shut down.”, but in the Hardware User Guide (Rev 8) it recommends to turn off modem by sending a AT#SYSHALT command, waiting PWRMON == OFF or 15s, and disconnecting the power supply.
What’s the difference between each procedure?
Best Regards,
Denis
For GL865 AT#SYSHALT is the correct way, and offers GPIO and DTR goodies, read here a discussion.
