3 thoughts on “Modem gets dynamic IP even when internet pack is not active”
Hello everyone,
I am using GL865 Dual telit modem. In my application, i am logging data to remote tcp server socket periodically. My modem will act as a tcp client. when the event generated, my application executes command to get dynamic ip to modem i.e. ‘AT#SGACT=1,1’.
Now, even when my sim card doesn’t has internet pack, the modem gets dynamic IP. Now i want to know whether this condition is possible or not?
Secondly, i want to know some at command(s) to know the internet pack validity or say balance enquiry in my sim card. Is it possible?
Thanks in advance…
You get an IP but you can use the Internet services? Maybe the limitation is that, with the intention to still be able to consume some MNO internal services.
I don’t think you can read the allocated plan services, for traffic numbers there are usually USSD codes to dial, MNO allocated.
Hello,
I am currently experiencing this problem, do you have a solution?*
Thanks in advance…
