    I have a question regarding the SE880. I have connected the SE880 with a GE866 and it seems to work almost properly. It takes forever to get a gps signal. It gets the time rater fast but it can take forever to get a position.

    What is the correct way to use the SGEE data and CGEE data?

    I have not connected any memory to the GPS but the modem can be used as storage of data. Is there anyway I can use m2mlocate funcion in the modem to speed up the GPS?

    Is there anyway for the GPS to tell me how good the reception of the signal is?

    And finally what is this command used for AT$INJECTSTSEED

     

    I hope someone can answer at least some of the questions

      you can find the SiRFInstantFix document, that shows you some technical info
      about how SGEE works and what is needed.

      Which antenna are you using?

      What is your TTFF in cold start
      condition? 45sec?

      Could you please tell me the AT
      commands, configuration that are you using? AT$GPSD… AT$GPSGPIO…?

       

       

      Please note that with the usage of a
      SiRF Star IV ROM 2.2 based module, so as you said all the files required are
      saved into GE866 Flash as storage. However, at the moment the maximum file
      available for a bundle solution with an ROM GPS module is 7days.Under warm or
      cold start condition the SGEE data speed up the process of the time to first
      fix.

       

      The attached NDA and InstantFix
      Agreement are necessary in order to open an account for you on our Telit Agps
      server.

      AT$INJECTSEED is not the command for
      SiRF Star IV based product, but it is for ST Teseo.
