One thought on “GE865: Current split between VBAT and VBAT_PA inputs pins”
We would like to size properly the capacitors on the VBAT and VBAT_PA lines.
We understand that the GE865 can use 2A peak with GPRS Class10.
But what is the current consumption split between the VBAT and VBAT_PA, please?
For best power supply design, we use separated power lines for VBAT_PA and VBAT.
If the VBAT pin uses less than 100mA max then the VBAT need less decoupling and the VBAT_PA more decoupling if most of the 2A peak is used by the power amplifier.
