    You can implement this with the PDU mode (CMGF=0) or to use the UCS2 character set, in text mode (CMGF=1)

    How to do it in text mode:
    you will find a good example at UCS2 Character Set  paragraph in the “Software User Guide” document.

    Example to send the string “@\alpha&” (3 characters long):
     
    You have to set:

    AT#SELINT=2
    AT+CMGF=1 #set text mode
    AT#SMSMODE=0
    AT+CSCS=”UCS2″ # you set the input mode
    AT+CSMP=17,167,0,26 #you set the DCS for sending SMS class2 , UCS2 type
    AT+CMGS=number in UCS2 format (read at http://www.unicode.org/charts/ link)
    e.g. 1234 should be written as 0031003200330034

    then you
