UC864-G battery charger fail to rocover from low batteryt voltage

  1. I’m using a 1100mAhr LiPo battery which is charged using the internal charger.

If I accidentally run the battery flat, 2.8V, I cannot get the internal charger to get the system working again. When I connect an external power source, thebattery starts to charge to about 3V. At this point RF activity starts, and the voltage collapses back down to 2.8V. The UC864-G appears to be left in a ‘crashed state’, consuming lots of current (<100mA). This battery charger then goes to the small ‘recovery mode’ current and the battery never get back above 3V. I really need a mothed to stop the automatic network registration that occurs with this model. The power source for charging is 5.0V current limited to 400mA as required.
