  1. Hello

I use HE910 since a year. For a change, I simply took a look at the product website:

    http://www.telit.com/cellular/3g-modules/xe910-family/#Key%20Features

There I can see a number of features never heard before, and unfortunately not at all explained, as far as I could find. Also not described in the latest HE910 datasheet. Probably nice features, once I could havea clue of what they are…

    For example:

    • IoT Connectivity and Portal ready
    • IoT Locate
    • GNSS bundling
    • FUMO

    1. Hi Tom,

Telit website had major rework during the latest months, integrating the new features entering production. Going through new menus you will find these new things, then you can discuss with your Telit representative. In short:

      – Iot Connectivity and Portal: about Telit cloud gathering, storing and presenting IOT data from “things” (devices) including HE910 modules which have integrated Cloud client (see AT#DW commands).

      – IOT locate: the former m2m locate, position finder with GSM data instead GPS (base station triangulation), and possibly reverse geocoding provided by the Cloud.

      – GNSS bundle: how to use or connect & use Telit 2G/3G/4G modules with their internal and external GPS modules.

      – FUMO: Firmware Update Management Object (FUMO) for updating firmware over the air (FOTA).

      1. Thanks Cosmin, I understand. But hereby I would like to greet your marketing and web development team, that all those mentioned bullets could also have been hyperlinks to relevant explanations, right?

Hopefully, we will also soon see Application Notes describing those mentioned new features.
