Jamming detection

  1. Q:

How is jamming detection feature working?

    A:

Telit devices can recognize the presence of a disturbing device such as a
Jammer, if the following two basic conditions are verified:
    1) Presence on the module receiver of a DISTURBING SIGNAL in the GSM, DCS, PCS band
    2) LOSS of any communication beetwen module and the registered and adjacent cells.
    You
can consider the MNPL as the sensibility of the detector. The bigger is
the value, the more sensible is the detector. The DCMN is the
reliability of the detector. The bigger is the value, the more reliable
    (and slower) is the detector.
