GL 865 FTP connection – how to make sure there is no data loss.

  1. Hello!
We are currently still working on the FTP functions of the Telit module. We have managed to both receive and send files from an FTP server, but there is still one problem that we have not been able to solve. Currently we have found no way to check whether or not the data that has been passed to the GSM module has actually been sent to the FTP server, or it is still pending. This means that we risk overflowing the buffer and this can cause data loss. Currently we have simply been using delays between packets, but this is not a permanent solution.
Therefore we have two questions :
    1) How large is the buffer that the GL865-DUALV3 module uses for storing FTP data in data mode?
    2) Is there a way to check if there is still data that the GSM module has not yet sent to the FTP server. Is it possible to ask the module in data mode, if it is still busy? Is there a pin that we could check? How is this usually accomplished?
