2 thoughts on “Detect no band or radio signal available”
Hello,
i’m using the HE910.
Problem:
We have a data logger with the descripted radio module. This logger is currently on the way over the pacific ocean by a ship. The logger want send in a specific interval a email to our server. About the ocean there are no mobile radio stations.
Currently I’m looking for the regstration of the module. If there was no registration after 90 secondes i think there is no mobile station radio coverage.
This is a long time for a battery powered device. It is possible to detect this situation with a AT command, if there is no band or carrier signal available?
Thanks for your answers.
Eric
You can do a network survey but that is also time and battery consumning. I think AT+COPS is the fastest way.
