The product was designed for new systems and to retrofit wired or non-networked controllers further expanding EnTouch’s penetration into energy management opportunity areas benefitting from cellular connectivity. Target customers for solutions based on the M2M enabled product include restaurants, stores, schools and offices.
The EnTouch One master controller is a central component in EMS solutions for commercial and small business facilities where traditional energy management systems are too complex and expensive. With it, solutions from EnTouch Controls leverage cellular wireless networking and cloud-based analytics to create an easy-to-use, low-cost platform. Telit’s GE865-QUAD quad-band GSM/GPRS module integrated in the EnTouch One controller is the ideal solution for embedded cellular applications where small size, low-cost and energy efficiency are crucial. Measuring only 22mm x 22mm x 3mm, it is significantly smaller than most cellular modules in its price range. With a low-power consumption profile, it is ideal for battery powered or backed-up applications.
