INFORMATION ACCORDING TO THE LAW DECREE 196/2003
1. Introduction
1.1.Telit Communications S.p.A. as well as all the affiliated companies worldwide belonging to Telits Group (hereinafter collectively "Telit") undertake to respect your privacy and grant you with appropriate protection and management of any personally identifiable information (hereinafter "Personal Data") you share with us.
1.2.Personal Information means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, a home or other physical address and an email address or other contact information, whether at work or at home.
1.3.If you choose to provide us with your Personal Data on our Web site, we may transfer that Data within Telit or to Telits third-party service providers, across borders, and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world.
1.4.Telit shall comply with all applicable laws around the globe that are designed to protect your privacy and especially with those set forth by Italian legislative decree no. 196/2003 (“Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali”) with respect to all Personal Data collected, transferred, or retained through our website.
2.Purposes for handling Personal Data
2.1.The Personal Data you freely give us will be handled for the following purposes:
a) to allow Telit to provide the service mentioned in this Web site (hereinafter ‘Services’) freely chosen by you;
b) to provide, upon your explicit consent, commercial and/or promotional information and send advertising material about products, services and other activities of Telit.
2.2.The Personal Data for each of the above-mentioned purposes will be handled on paper, by automated means and data transmission and will be transmitted by ordinary mail, e-mail, or telephone (by automated calls, SMS, MMS, etc.) and fax.
2.3.Your personal data, gathered by this registration, can be handled by employees assigned to the Data handling procedure, even outside collaborators, assigned to the management of the Service requested and the marketing activities included therein, and by the Manager(s) of the data handling or companies to which this data has been communicated as described below.
3. Provision of Personal Data
3.1. The provision of your Personal Data is always optional and never mandatory. However, if the data fields marked as “mandatory” are not given, the Service you are requesting cannot be provided.
3.2. If the data not provided are not marked as “mandatory”, the Service can nonetheless be provided.
4. Access to and holding of Personal Data
4.1. Your Personal Data may be disclosed to third parties in order to comply with the applicable law or with orders from public authorities or to exercise a right in front of the Court.
4.2. The holder of the Personal Data handling in Telit is the System Administrator located in Sgonico (TS) via Stazione di Prosecco no. 5/B. The manager of the data handling for the Service is the System Administrator.
5. Your rights
According to Art. 7 of the Law Decree 196/2003 it is your right to access your Personal Data, obtain updates or deletions without delay, in cases of data handling activities that are against the law, you have the right to oppose the handling of your data for commercial or advertising purposes and can request the complete updated list of all the Managers of the data handling procedure by writing to Telit Communications S.p.A. , Via Stazione di Prosecco no. 5/B, Sgonico (TS).
