How does it work?
The Telit Easy Script® extension is targeted toward applications usually handled by a microcontroller that manages I/O pins through the AT command interface.

In order to eliminate this external controller and further simplify the programming of the sequence of operations, Telit modules supporting Easy Script® offer:
- Python© script interpreter engine
- Around 3 MB of non-volatile memory for users' scripts as well as for data
- 1.2 MB of RAM reserved for Python© engine usage
- Integrated TCP/IP stack
In order to get started Telit provides the Telit Python© Package with the Python© Win tool for Windows which makes it easy to write and test Python© scripts.

Python© scripts are simple text files stored in the NVM inside the Telit module. They can be uploaded to the module from a PC over the serial port with a simple communication and terminal emulation program such as Hyper Terminal and dedicated AT commands that can write, enable, read, list or delete script.
