Application Examples

The following are working application examples, which show the capabilities of the Telit AppZone software platform, built on top of our G30 module, providing an interface to its functionalities.

The Telit AppZone addresses a wide range of different products such as remote monitoring and control, security and surveillance, telemetry, location services, billing, fleet management and more.

EchoText

The Echo Text example is a website that displays a text written by the user in the application and sent to a webserver. When the application runs, the user can insert his text and it will be presented immediately on the website.

HTTP GET Server

The HTTP GET SERVER example presents the information that are sent to it by an M2M application. The example allows the user to enter data over the web and then are sent to the module through UART port. After a predefined time, the application sends the information to the example website using the HTTP GET command and the website displays the information on the webpage.

GPS

The GPS example presents the location of a module that is connected to a GPS receiver. The module's coordinates are received from the GPS and the module sends them to the example website. Besides its location, additional information can be sent and shown for each module, including the module's id, its coordinates, its status and more. The module is connected to the GPS through UART and it can be connected to any GPS receiver that supports NMEA protocol.

Control Panel

The Control Panel example displays some module's internal information. In this way the application can retrieve information regarding the module's identifier, its network, its gpio pins status and show all on a website.

Vending Machine

The Vending Machine example shows information about status of a vending machine with embedded G30 module. When there are changes in the status of the vending machine, the information are sent to the server and shown on a webpage.

AMR

The AMR example displays information about a meter reading system with embedded G30 module. The module can read information coming from the meter counter and send the results, so it can be monitored from remote.

AVL

The AVL example shows module's location. The M2M application can retrieve the module's coordinates from the network and send them to a website that shows the position on a map.

Exceptions Log

The Exception Log example displays information about exceptions that can occur in a module. In order to monitor the module's behavior, information about its exceptions can be sent to a remote server in a clear and informative layout.
