Telit telemetry solutions: safe and reliable operations

Shipments of medicine or food require the observance of certain temperature ranges or a complete documentation of the cold chain. Sensors inside the containers measure parameters such as temperature and humidity and transfer them to a central database using M2M technology.

In technical facilities that are difficult or hazardous to access, telemetry units make working conditions safer and operations more economical. They provide precise data about environmental conditions, machine performance, filling levels or product life cycles, enabling remote management of industrial plants.

Applications that are used in adverse surroundings are subject to special classification. The ATEX directives, for example, consist of two EU regulations that specify the equipment which is allowed in an environment with an explosive atmosphere.
