PaaS
Platform as a Service (PaaS) is a method of delivering a set of computing building blocks without the cost and complexity of buying and managing the underlying hardware, software, provisioning and hosting capabilities. The elements of the PaaS can be used for application development and application services such as team collaboration, web integration, database integration, security and state management. These services can be used as an integrated solution on the Web.
