Have you ever wondered what you would do if your teenage daughter, who left in her new car earlier in the evening, was not home by 2:00 a.m. in the morning? The EZ863 GPS unit is the solution that could assist you! As long as the EZ863 GPS is connected to the car's cigarette lighter, you would only have to access the internet site Google Earth, choose the last known location of the car, and find the car’s current location. This GPS is a simple tracking unit with no installation and no monthly fees which provides you the ability to locate your car at all times. The EZ863 GPS has no microcontroller, just a simple power supply connected to Telit's GM863 GPS Python module. With a low price point and adaptable internal software, the unit can be programmed to client specifications. The EZ863 GPS unit can also be used in emergencies as a car phone or to remotely shut off the engine in the event of theft. There is a hands free option inside the EZ83 GPS.
