Overview: The Operations and Support Technician will be responsible for day-to-day monitoring of systems, applications, and the Customer Support center. This position provides Tier I support for all problems with wireless hardware, software and other computer related technology issues and inquiries. This position will review systems to collect information about problems and perform diagnostic procedures to determine the source of errors. This individual must be able to log and track calls using incident management software, maintain historical records and related problem documentation, and perform triage on all incoming requests to ensure that tickets are routed to the appropriate group for resolution. Daily activities will be driven primarily by recurring system health checks, responding to automated system alerts, and handling customer calls and emails.

Inside Sales Representative - NA Services

Overview:
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will be responsible for generating new leads and building a pipeline of opportunities for the Telit IoT Cloud and Connectivity Platform business.  Primary responsibilities include: outbound prospecting, pre-qualifying and channeling leads to our direct and indirect sales teams for further qualification and managing of small and medium enterprise (SME) accounts. The position reports to the VP of Sales, NA Services and will receive daily oversight from the ISR.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The ISR will be responsible for generating new leads in a specified territory for all Telit Services.  The focus of this position will be on lead generation and qualification. The specific responsibilities of the position will include, but not be limited to:

Lead Generation:

  • Place outbound prospecting calls and e-mails from campaign lead sources or through individual research.
  • Field inbound phone calls and e-mail based inquiries for more information.
  • Pre-qualify all leads and distribute accordingly to direct and indirect sales teams for further qualification.
  • Educate prospects on the benefits of Telit IoT Cloud and Connectivity services.
  • Effectively manage daily / monthly activities including call volume, pipeline / forecasting and quota goals.
  • Follow up with direct and indirect sales teams to ensure lead hand-off is successful.



Account Management:

  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and e-mail cross-sell and up-sell.

Reporting to the Director Global Application Engineering, you will help key customers design and build systems for smart homes and cities, health and fitness, control/monitoring in industrial, commercial and residential markets, as well as audio/video applications. You will also work closely with customers and cross functional teams to grow our IOT business. This is a high impact role in the marketing organization. Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to develop new products using GainSpan Wi-Fi modules and SoCs.  You will provide design consultation, schematic reviews as well as technical support to customers around the world. 
  • Develop evaluation boards and reference designs using GainSpan Wi-Fi modules for various IoT verticals. Conduct performance benchmarks like power consumption, throughput and range measurements. 
  • Develop customer collateral including quick start guides, user documents, application notes and training materials. Help with sales, FAE and customer training. 
  • Study and understand existing firmware and hardware design and implementation. Modify, extend, and/or debug past implementations to support customers and drive continuous improvements. 
  • Work with operations and QA teams to perform root cause analysis of customer issues  (CRA)

 

Qualifications

  • Technical leadership experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills and enthusiasm for solving customer problems in a collaborative manner.
  • Ability to work with customers and a variety of internal teams in marketing, filed applications engineering, sales, hardware and software Engineering.
  • Experience in designing evaluation boards and development kits using MCUs, wireless modules and chips - understand the design rules, schematic capture, layout and related CAD tools such as Allegro and OrCAD.
  • In-depth knowledge in various host interfaces:  SDIO, USB, I2S, I2C, UART, DDR/flash memory, micro-controller, and sensors.
  • Hands on debugging RF wireless systems, CRA analysis, and knowledge of regulatory certifications.
  • Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and other WLAN/BT test equipment like Litepoint. •
  • Experience in embedded system design and software development using RTOS and programming languages like C, C++ .
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP/UDP, wireless communications standards and protocols as well as debugging tools like Wireshark.
  • Open to occasional travel to customer locations and development centers. 

 

Education & Experience:

BSEE or MSEE; with 10+ years of experience on board level design using MCUs, wireless modules and wireless SoCs, preferably Wi-Fi.

Regional Sales Specialist - NA Services

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Regional Sales Specialist (RSS) will be responsible for direct sales of Telit’s IoT connectivity and cloud offering in North America (NA).  The RSS will formulate and implement account strategies to maximize sales results in the territory either directly or through supporting Telit Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) as a subject matter expert.  General responsibilities include: leading our sales efforts in direct accounts, prospecting strategic accounts, implementing specific account strategies and closing opportunities. The individual we are seeking must have relevant M2M network services experience and extensive experience in complex and solution selling.   The position reports to the VP of Sales, North American Services and dotted line reports to the regional VP of Sales.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The RSS will be responsible for new and existing services sales in North America for the assigned territory.  The specific responsibilities of the position will include, but not be limited to:

New Sales Development & Account Management:

  • Provide subject matter expert support to as a sales overlay assisting direct or indirect sales teams in the entire sales process.
  • The RSS will also drive deals directly for a set of key accounts that do not have a hardware component to the sale.
  • Build relationships within targeted accounts at all levels in order to understand customer requirements and build a compelling value proposition based on Telit’s services offerings.
  • Present Telit’s services offering, including demonstrating deep familiarity with company's infrastructure, security and integration capabilities.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Sales Support:

  • Interface with major Mobile Networks Operators (MNOs) to understand their wireless technology roadmaps, technology transitions plans and spectrum position to drive future product requirements.
